Methylcobalamin is one of the active forms of vitamin B12. As a cofactor, it is involved in various aspects of metabolism (Source). Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products, such as meat and dairy products. People who consume few or no products of animal origin may not get enough vitamin B12. For vegetarians and vegans, a supplement with vitamin B12 makes sense to increase intake (Source).
Mannitol is a gentle natural sweetener with 0.7 times the sweetening power of regular sugar. It exists in all kinds of plants and has a sweet taste, without any aftertaste (Source). When dosed appropriately (as in Change™ B12), mannitol does not offer any health disadvantages.
Isomalt is a sugar substitute that is half as sweet as regular sugar. In addition, isomalt solidifies after cooling, making it very suitable for forming tablets. The European Food Authority EFSA investigated isomalt and approved it as a sweetener.
As our B12 tablets are melting tablets, taste is very important. We've choosen strawberry flavor combined with Stevia 98% Rebo A (a natural sweetener) to make B12 taste delicious.

Change™ B12 vitamin is purchased from our Dutch supplier. Because we don't modify the formula, shape or form, we use documentation of the manufacturer.
Our B12 vitamin does not contain any allergens suchs as soy or gluten, and is GMO-free. As a sweetener we use Stevia 98% Rebo A which is a natural sweetener extracted from a honey herb. It contains no calories or carbohydrates and does not increase the blood sugar level.
Our body can only absorb a small portion of the supplemented amount of B12. Therefore the dosage in the tablet should be this high.
